Ok. Bought the bigger knife from Koyote from the knifemakers' forum, it is a leuku bushcrafter. Liked it so much I asked Christof to make an EDC for me, something that I could slip into a pocket if necessary.

He made a convex, 1/8 thick, ipe handled BEAUTY that is 3 7/8 inches of blade and same for the handle. Cuts like a laser! Only shot one food prep picture:garlic and sausages (yum). The fuzz stick was made in just a few seconds with the EDC.

Excuse the glare on the bushcrafter in the side-by-side pic. The blade is not marked up, blame my photography skills. I'm currently working on another idea for a knife to be made by him. Great guy and great products! And the sheaths are absolutley amazing. I'm going camping soon...I will take them for a tougher test and report back with the findings.

aloha rockywolf koyote has some awsome knives he just finish makeing my custom boar hunta/machete an its awsome looking ,cant wait to test it.koyote keep up da awsome work an professional attitude,,ALOHA

I really like Koyote's knives and Kyote Girl's sheath work just matches it so well. I'd really like to order one later this year. Dying to try his 'thin' interpretation of big knives!
 
I 100% agree with you on Koyote's knives and sheaths. They're great.

That Ipe EDC is a beaut! and I love my Leuku bushcraft also.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I should post the photos of the boar hunting knife once I get real photos tomorrow. Koyote Girl just did this amazing huge 8 ounce leather sheath for it and it's completely awesome.

Rockywolf, I'm really looking forward to the design.

kgd: the camp bowie style one is SO much fun to chop with. I can see making a lot of those.
 
Hey Koyote - I noticed you had three new knives up on your website last night. The dagger isn't quite my style but I really like the lueku and ranger! Keep those things coming!
 
The dagger was fun, and keeps me from getting tunnel vision. I'd like to be able to make the leuku pattern bushcrafters a bit faster to give me more time to work on a few things I haven't done enough of. But I think it's more a matter of the heat of summer than "real" time
 
Here is a photo I took of the boar hunting sheath while I was working on it. I just got a kitten and he loves to "help" :)
