Krein reground Endura ZDP

I have a reground Endura. It is a fine cutting instrument but it won't be a beater Endura. Being a good all-round user and beater is one of the philosophies behind the Endura / Delica series, I believe.

Besides, the Military fulfills the need for a full flat ground blade.

Spyken, in what way is the reground Endura restricted in use. Where would you reach for the sabre ground version?

Forgot to say that is a beautiful grind, Mike. It is one I would be very proud to have.

I wish for innovations in line with what Cliff has suggested (lower carbide, thinner grind). Spyderco is my likely vehicle because of their size (small, and hopefully that means responsive) and the receptive presence of Sal on this board. It is just that I don't see things moving fast enough, considering what [I believe it] could be.

An important point could be just what percentage of the market would be engaged and just how much of an increase in sales would it generate. The fact is that most of the simpler steels have a poor reputation. Benchmade was open in the past that they did not convert more knives to M2 similar because of the cost of educating consumers on the benefits. Of course with the forums this is reduced somewhat, but still, from a profit standpoint, the incentive may not be as high as our desire.
