just bought it, custom Tom Krein TK 4 mini bowie, and its just a little small for my club hands, other wise a very cool knife. brown micarta, very good used condition, some small kydex scratches, shaves, great edc. w/kydex, tek loc

What steel?
Is the hardware brass or aluminum?
Are there liners, and if so, what color?
Is there a swedge?
When you say brown, do you mean actually brown or is it just natural?

A picture would help answer those questions.
 
hardware? if you mean the rivets and lanyard hole liner they are brass. no liners, brown micarta not natural, brown , steel type is s30v. camera down but plenty of tk3's on his web site, hope this helps//jim
 
my guess would be, it was made by tom krein a custom knife maker??? unless someone sold me a fake krein. or was that a trick question?? maybe I dont understand, unless your kidding.//jim
 
Custom is synonymous with hand made, which is why Kreins, Doziers, Mayos, Boses, etc. are seen in this forum.

Mod - not chatting, just helping to clarify a point.
