For Sale:
1. Tom Krein TK-8
This fine example of Tom Krein's great work has a D2 blade and sports some beautiful red carbon fiber handles, black liners and silver pin. Tom was kind enough to polish the handles so that the red carbon fiber really pops, and the silver pin is also polished. Note: What you see in the polished silver pin in the pics are reflections of tree branches above where I was taking the pics.
This knife has never been carried or used and has been a safe queen dweller. The blade does have a few extremely fine scratches from the kydex.
Comes with Tom's fine kydex sheath with Tek-lok. I will throw in the very nice Fuzzyedge beaded lanyard if purchased at y originally listed price. I believe it is made from African blackwood with a rag micarta insert.
Specs:
Condition: Mint, unused and never carried. Safe queen dweller.
Blade length: approx. 4 1/8" from tip to handle
Cutting edge: approx 3 7/8"
Overall length: approx. 8 5/8"
Blade material: D2
Handle scale material: beautiful Red carbon fiber with black liners
Sheath: Tom's kydex with Tek-lok
Price: SPF shipped USPS Priority within US. Shipping additional if outside of CONUS. Payment by USPS Money Order preferred. I do not have a Paypal account.
2. Tom Krein Mini 8 "Fatboy"
This great little knife has a D2 blade and sports some beautiful brown Westinghouse micarta handles with black liners and mosaic pin.
The knife is somewhat rare because it is a "Fatboy" version (Tom uses thicker blade stock) and has the Westinghouse micarata scales.
This knife has been carried and gently used once to cut a shoe lace. The blade is still as sharp as new, but the blade does have several fine, yet noticeable scratches on the blade. I have tried to show the scratches in the pics below. There are also some very minor, fine scratches on the metal tang. I am sure that Tom could probably buff all of these out if they really bothered a new owner.
Comes with: Tom's fine kydex and tek-lok sheath. Added Bonus: comes with a beautiful hand-tooled custom leather cross-draw belt sheath with "Krein" stamped on back of sheath.
Specs:
Condition: Carried and gently used; several fine, yet noticeable scratches on blade
Blade length: approx. 3 7/16" from tip to handle
Cutting edge: approx 3 1/8"
Overall length: approx. 7"
Blade material: D2
Blade thickness: approx. 3/16"
Handle scale material: beautiful brwon Westinghouse micarta
Sheath: Tom's kydex with Tek-lok and custom leather sheath
Price: SPF shipped USPS Priority within US. Shipping additional if outside of CONUS.
