Life happens and he is on another continent.

You say he was supposed to pay this morning and its only this morning... give it a little time. I found that he is good for his word.

I don't know what the time difference is where he's at, but it may not be "this morning" in Russia yet. Heck, it was only 8:32 when you posted. The morning's not over here yet.
 
Give it time

He has conducted many transactions here on bladeforums & always asks for conus shipping even though he is in russia. So you aren't losing whatsover & have a bit of patience.

I just shipped some knives to his US address and he was very prompt in all communications and Pay Pal transactions.

I thought the purpose of GBU was when there was a problem that was not able to be resolved through communication between the parties. For chrissake, don't you think this thread was a bit petty?

Good lord! Was this OP even remotely justified? Guess I just wanna go on record as saying that the GB&U "hammer" should be a last resort after all other reasonable efforts and time frames have elapsed without results. (IMNSHO) Talk amungst yerselves . . . but COMMUNICATE people!

Yes, I practice what I preach . . . :p

The OP is a newbie, worried over a transaction out of the country, not familiar with the procedure here in GBU.

Even so, he didn't write a panicky condemnation in the original post, just asked a question, and has since edited the post to reflect his satisfaction with the transaction.

It's a learning eperience, dealing online, and even experienced members here won't sell outside CONUS.
