i just started using kritnite for handles has anyone had a problem with the way it sands or buffs. it juat won't sand even or buff nice any sugestions

Never had a problem with it. Since it's a polymer, I'd recommend more gentle buffing than you would with wood or metal. It tends to melt rather than overheat.

Sand it to 2000 grit or better (I go to 2500) then light buff with green compound followed with light buff with pink. It will look like glass! Be very careful not to overheat it, it can shrink.

ETA- Also, if you don't want that glass look, sand to 2000 grit and then rub it out with a gray Scotch-Brite pad. I get a very nice satin finish this way.

I was very pleased with kirinite the first and only time I used it. Sanded/polished easily and seemed more durable than some of the other similar type products.
