Back in the days before the flood of counterfeit watches, a good gold Rolex made a great bartering tool. I read that CIA operatives during the Vietnam War were issued gold Rolex Presidentials for both negotiating credibility as well as escape bartering.

When I moved into a new house in 1984 I remember taking them in a box and carrying them out of the old house.

But from that point I have no clue.

So I may have lost $55,000?:eek: :eek:

I really have no idea where they are, time to tear apart my attic!!!:o

At the moment a Kruger is worth about £213 or $280 U.S. so maybe about $42000 actually. Still a sh1* load of cash to loose. I'd get a whole team of guys to tear it appart
