I just kept testing and reading and so forth until I was happy with the product. It is similar to G10 in looks and feel but is not quite as strong. Although not quite as strong as G10 it has done well for me with over 3000 sold.
I try and make each scale as close to perfect as possible. I went from making 4 usable scales out of 10 in the beginning to making maybe 7 usable scales out of 10 these days. I'm thankful that my scrap pile is getting smaller with experience. As mentioned, I do my best on everyone but there may be a slight flaw or two that I miss occasionally. If someone gets " a bad one" I have no problem replacing it.
I currently offer many models but am adding to the list every chance I get. I'm working on the ZT0350, manix 2, 0700 (0700-because I want to force it back in production:) and a few others right now. Another item I hope to list soon is spacers for the 0350, 03??, skyline, scallion, chive, JYD

Does the assisted opening still work on the zt0350 with your scales?

i'm in for 030x spacers and scale - i suppose it'll be nice stuff

Sorry, but the assist feature won't be able to be used. I don't have the equiptment to mill the underside of the scale for the spring. I do plan to offer some spacers for the 0350 soon and I am making them to allow the assist feature.

Just got my yellow scales installed and I am quite please with the final result. The fit on the scale is excellent while the texture is smoother than the original...which I kinda like. Thanks for the great service Kryptoglow!

Sure, I could make some scales for the 0560. I can do just about any color or color combination. Some examples are on ebay under kryptoglow and on my website at kryptoglow.com. Prices outside of ebay are;

1 color non glow-----------40.00
Camo/Marbled non glow--44.00
Glow single color-----------44.00
Glow Camo/Marbled------47.00 Prices are shipped.

If you decide to purchase let me know and I'll send an invoice VIA paypal. I would just need color, glow OR non glow and paypal address. It would take approx. 5 days to make and ship. I ship VIA USPS first class which takes about 3-4 business days to arrive. You would be notified by paypal when shipped with tracking.

I just ordered a set of scales for my Manix 2 from him. Took him a day or two and I got a shipment notice yesterday. His prices are very reasonable IMO.

The prices above were for international shipping and had an extra 2.00 added to each price for shipping... Oh yeah, jasperjb-it would normally take approx 20-30 days to arrive in Australia due to customs.

I didn't read the whole thread, didn't realise you were here, just thought I'd post my info ^_^.
I will be ordering from you within the next few weeks/months.

Also, just thought I'd say it's great how friendly and approachable you are, it makes doing business very easy and your prices are very good!

Do you do scales for just ZT products?

Hey Eric, that's funny. I'm not looking to get rich I just enjoy what I do and it got me out of roofing:)

Jasperjb-Thanks for the kind words. I hope to make some scales for you in the future. Sometimes it seems that I only do ZT but I also do kershaw, some buck, becker, esse, ontario, spyderco... As a matter of fact I'm going to start a thread in the knifemakers forum so I can list what models I offer and how I can best be contacted.

Love my Kryptoglow scale for the ZT 0560. Fit and finish is perfect and the grip is great:

I have Kryptos on my Boker S2 very nice fit and finish and a nice grip, I am very interested in some unique scales for my Manix 2.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for posting that picture!!! :thumbup: I really like the color, and the fact it glows glacier blue, so I have one of my own on the way now! :D :cool:
