KSF Pocket Sheath...

I'm quite impressed with the quality of mine. I've used it to carry both a Mikro Canadian II and a Pro Scalpel II. (Not at the same time.)

just a heads up these are pretty big, alot bigger than I thought they would be.
(I didn't read the details before I bought mine:foot::confused:)

It must just be me and my ignorance, but it seems kind of dangerous to carry a fixed blade knife in a sheath in your pocket.

I have one that I use almost every day.
For a bigger knife there is the Hunters Pocket Sheath.
I can carry either in the front pocket of my hiking pants.

There are three different versions of the KSF pocket Sheath currently available.

Someone started a thread on the Adirondack Pocket Sheath earlier today.

I posted this picture over there, but I will post it again here for reference.

The Black one is the Adirondack Pocket Sheath, its holding an Inova “X5” LED flashlight and a 6” BRK&T “Blackwater Boot Knife”.

The bigger one is a Hunters Pocket Sheath, its got a Inova “T1” LED flashlight and my 8¼” Bark River “Recurve Fox River” in its recesses.

The third sheath is the same size as the Adirondack but has a small slot to hold a Firesteel or single AAA cell flashlight (like the Peak “Matterhorn”) instead of the bigger pocket.

Awesome sheaths! I bought one for my Gossman PSK, but I am going to use it for my BRKT PSK too, when it arrives. I carry the knife and a K&M matchcase in mine. Its the "Adirondack" version.

Im not familiar with the size of these knives shown. Would either of these Adirondaks work for a Gerber Pixie?--thanx--KV

I just got one as a gift (I started a couple other threads about it here and there). It is of very good quality with thick and stiff welts, so I don't think safety is a concern. I'm using mine for a Mini Canadian and a Vic Spirit at the moment. It is a bit heavy with those tools, but rides comfortably in a back pocket sort of like a large wallet. It works great with heavy pants like jeans or Carharts, but might be a bit much for dress pants.

I wear my pocket sheath in the front pocket of khakis all day at work. I've never had a problem with weight, but I'm not carrying heavy knives in it. When wearing jeans, I find it too big and inflexible for the front pocket, and don't like sitting on a knife enough to put it in my back pockets. For those situations, I often just switch to the belt sheath. :thumbup:

I'm with foxhole, thought mine was too big and stiff to carry in jeans. I cut off the "extras" pocket and use the knife part to carry my RC Izula prototype. Works great for that.

I carry the KSF pocket sheath and Adirondack pocket sheath every day in my back pocket. I can't say enough about these clever little products. They take a week or 2 to conform to your ass, but so does a good wallet. :D
