We'll take good care of you. I don't know what is up with this specific package, but we had a whole tub of packages the other day that the post office scanned as delivered the day we took them in....

I've got to lol at that. And backup how easy it is to do that. it's a keyed menu, and among several items, one is 'acceptance', and one is 'delivered'. Delivered is definitely more common, and an easy slip up to do. Very likely, all the packages will make it.
 
I just bought my first knife from ksf and i have nothing but good things to say about that company. Good price, fast shipping, and most importantly the shipping was free. Thanks to companies like this i can get a nicer knife since i dont have to worry about the shipping costs.

I ordered an Izula with scales on Sunday, and if the tracking info is to be believed it was accepted on Monday for shipment and hasn't moved since. I hope somehow that's not right.

i have no idea. ksf said they needed a few days to get to the bottom of it. that was over a week ago.

usps tracking is completely screwed up. i had a couple knives coming in and they said they were being held for pick up. so i called usps's main hotline and they told me that meant that i had a hold for all of my mail and that no mail was coming to my house anymore. however, i was still getting mail and other packages. so i hung up and called the local office and they told me they were just backed up and they'd get it out to me asap.

when it comes to USPS, you just gotta wait it out, rather than trust their tracking.
 
I am not sure what happened with that package. It left our place weeks ago. The post office has done this several times before. It is like the package gets separated and then they scan it again.

Originally (in the original post) it scanned as delivered. It is very odd.

If it is our screw up, I am sorry. If it is USPS, I am sorry for that as well. In any event, help me out with an order number.
 
I just got my knife, so it was obviously USPS tracking that was screwed up which is what I figured. There was a little mix up with my order though, nothing big, and I will contact Derrick directly.
 
yea, dont take me the wrong way. im not blaming ksf. deff the usps' fault i just want to show people how jacked up the post office can be. i spoke with you about this package already
 
I'm sure you spoke with Tom. I am telling you--if Tom is on it, there is no one better. I tease him all the time about how stinkin' detail oriented he is! Just what I need! He has been a life saver to me.

If I had to guess, I would say they found your package under a counter somewhere at our post office. But I don't know and can't ever know.

If you will give us another chance... Remind us of this and the next time you order, we'll make it worth your while.

IF for any reason the package does not arrive, or arrives empty, or whatever, let me know and we will get you taken care of.

I had an incident once with USPS (most possibly the Canadian customs) and KSF took great care of the matter.

I wouldn't worry when dealing with KSF they are really great people and their customer service is one of the best I have ever seen.

Bought my ESEE RC-5 from Derrick, once I submitted my order I got 2 emails after about an hour stating that it was shipped. Now that is fast service!:thumbup:
 
I have heard so many good things about KSF over the years that I wanted to help promote them with my own personal giveaway a month or so ago. I don't post much but am a hell of a lurker. The order was about as weird as could be, but they got it all figured out and shipped no problem. I am sorry you have had a problem but have no doubt KSF will take great care of you. Heck I called there today with a simple question and Derek answered on the first ring.

I bought my Izula from KSF and everything was GTG. Showed up today after ordering on monday. I would have bought my RC-5 from them too but they were out of stock. I did though find a great price on it at Knifeworks.com though. The post office tracking didnt show anything as far as progress until it was out for delivery.
