KTSA Show, Kamloops BC. What are you bringing?

Thanks for posting this OP. I'm about an hour from Kamloops - and here I thought I'd only be looking at guns all day!

Nice drop point Shane......I didn't realize I let any blocks of birch go that were as nice as that one:p

I have one to post tomorrow.....need better light for pics.
Darcy:)

One of several slippies I hope to have done for the show.

My version of a Dogleg pattern.
3 inch blade......just under 3 7/8" closed.
Bronze and nickel silver with brown canvas micarta.
3/32" O-1 steel.....antique etched finish.
Pinned shield (the next one will be a more interesting shape)

Thanks guys.
I just wrapped this one up.....still needs a sheath, but it's going to Kamloops.

6 inch blade of Aldo's 1084, etched finish. Elk antler scales.....copper pin and tube.

Darcy:)

Nice hunter Shane! The burl looks great.

Darcy, I'm looking forward to seeing that slippie in person!

Knifeneasy - wear comfy footwear, there are 3 arenas full of stuff to look at! ;)

Tommorow I should have an update pic on some of the knives I'm working on.

The girls each got a couple knives made:

Here is a shot of the whole batch:

Stabilized oak burl:

Cocobolo & orange G10 with 52100:

Gonna have to make a few sheaths!

Bruce that's great! I definitely see dad's influence in the girls' knives.

That Oak burl looks great too. Looks like you will have quite the selection.

Can't wait to inspect those blades closer Bruce.

I think a guy will need to get to your table early with his wallet out to get a chance at one of the girls knives......gonna go quick!

Darcy

Thinking about a full tang bowie (tapered tang) with elk antler scales.....

Then since I had the forge fired up decided to start two:

Tell your daughters nice job on those knives. That Wharnie is really cool.

I'll have some to post up in the next few days......only 2 done so far for the show, but 9 more in various stages of completion.......might not get all those ready in time.:foot:

Darcy

Simple one. 1/8 inch thick, 4 3/8" blade of Aldo's finest 1084......etched finish for low maintenance. Amber jigged bone scales and peened nickel silver pins.

Darcy

I like the forced patina theme Darcy

How many slipjoints are you bringing?

Thanks Shane. Hoping to have 4......unless I booger them up.:D
Only one Damascus hunter......no bowie this year, just not enough hours in the day.:(
