Kohai999, I designed the keyring attachment so the kubaton rides more comfortbly in your pocket, the bail rotates 360 degrees so your keys are not stuck out to the side, but then the modularbility of my kubaton is such that if you dont like a certain attacment insted of discounting the whole kubaton you just pick another attachment, but I'm still courious as to why you think its cheesey...also I agree that some of the attachments would not be friendly on one's anatomy if carried in the pocket, but some guys will not carry them in such a way,and the ones who do will opt for the less "lethal" attachments, again hence the "modular" design of my kubaton..I will have a kydex carry rig that I will be doing that will enable one to carry the pointy ones easily...
The whole idea of my modular kubaton is to let you the customer configure your stick the best way to suit your needs, what works for some wont work for others thats the beauty of this design. Also I will constantly be designing more attachments in the future so all you need to do is purchase a new attachment and you have a whole new kubaton that you can switch around as the need warrents it,for instance I will have a pen attachment available next week so you can write with it,also anothe new item for the kubaton is a pocket clip that you can add for carry, and even more "lethal" attachments coming soon.
You are alittle off on the price tho...these kubatons are $90.00 each which include your choice of 2 attachments, the tightening pins and the 550 cord for the koppo stick option...Thanks a bunch!!

Rick, if you notice, I said
"The variety of screw in devices is a nice feature. It allows you to tailor your Kubaton in a way that works best for you."
I hardly discounted the whole package, I thought it was cool. I beg your pardon on the pricing thing, I work with Anthony Feight, and I thought that was what he told me, sorry if I was off by a rather substantial $25.00.
I think the keychain attachment is cheesy, because it is obviously stamped, and looks it, and I felt with the thought and effort that went into the attachments, the keychain was the weak link. I know why you made it like you did, but a cool machined swivel, maybe a ball and socket would have been cooler-it matters, the devil is in the details. I personally would not be interested in a kydex sheath for this item.
Sure, you can make more lethal attachments for the kubotan. Kind of like the hand implement thing on Mr. Han in Enter the Dragon, you could have the knife, fork and spoon attachment, the scissor attachment, the pizza wheel attachment, hawkbill, kris and bowie attachment, the list goes on

.
I like the ones that you came up with now, it is very configurable to make a defensive weapon that works for the style that you know. I still want one.
