I don't equate any knife made in Shenzhen Guangdong China with having a good reputation and high standards.

I suspect the English, German and other European makers/people in the 19thC said the same thing about knives made in U.S., Bradford or Titusville. :D:D:D

hhmoore: close, but not exactly ;)

If they were produced by slave labor you may be right.

Are you forgetting the history of the US on slavery? Maybe not making knives, but what about cotton? Wearing any US cotton or eating fruits/veggies picked by itinerant workers making next to nothing? US history on slavery/civil rights isn't squeaky clean (still isn't). Sorry. post not directly about knives (mods feel free to delete).

If you feel good buying a knife made in a Communist sweat shop that's all that matters.

Which is exactly what US had in many industries before unions organized (US has nothing to brag about on this either).

Sorry, but I believe you all are blind to and "white washing" US history. I guess the same arguments apply to Kershaw, CRKT, We, Civivi, some Bucks, etc., etc. The world markets are changing; read your clothing labels, the electronic devices you use to connect here; it's not just knives (which is what we are supposed to be discussing.)

I believe you are blind about Communism , enjoy your knife.

I'm not (don't like it) and I do. I suppose you use/have nothing made in whole or in part from China?

Bye, end of thread for me. Not about knives.
