Kudos to Kershaw

A few weeks ago I sent in a badly abused Cryo to Kershaw for their $10 blade replacement. I filled out the form with my credit card information because I destroyed the blade, I expected to pay.

Yesterday I received a package from Kershaw, it contained a BRAND NEW CRYO in the box!!! There were also no charges made to my card. Talk about going above and beyond.

Just thought I'd give credit where credit is due :thumbup:
 
Good to hear Kershaw stands behind their products. I've had a similar experience with CRKT.

Excellent! I remember a fella here who's cousin has a Cryo that keeps coming apart. Maybe they would hook him up too.
 
My son's Volt2 had the spring break the other day, so he will have to try out their service department.
Since the knife is made in China, I wonder if will needs to go back there for service?
The Kershaw web site gives me that impression. Something about having to send those in and they don't have parts for them in Oregon.
We'll see. It's the first knife he ever purchased himself with his own money earned by working on the ranch next to ours.
 
I picked up a used Kershaw Blackout a few years ago. I sent it in for the ten dollar blade replacement. It came back with a new blade and pocket clip screws and all. Now it took a few months but how can you complain about that? That's the only time I have ever used customer service and I was completely satisfied.
 
That's Kershaw for you. IMO they seem like a pretty honest company that gives great knvies for a great price.
