Here are five pieces of stabilized hornbone. The three on the left are Kudu the two on the right are Waterbuck. The vary in size from 5" on the far left to over 7" on the right and from 1 1/4" to 2" diameter.

Attached also are pix of two knives I've done with hornbone just like these.

I'll take $15.00 each, plus $5.00 shipping or take all five and I'll pay shipping.

The horns of lot of Africa's horned animals aren't solid like a buffalo horn or such. This is the material in the core of the horns. When you see those hollow springbok and impala horns at shows and such...this is the stuff in the center.

I've only used it on a couple knives but, it seemed pretty tough to me and I've had no customer complaints at all. The only thing I ever noticed was once I had to fill in a few little pores with crazy glue like sometimes happens with giraffe bone.

Yep, it's stabilized.

I have a good collection of Horn & Bone material on display at www.naturalproducts.4t.com I invite you to visit this site.

I don't think it's ethical to use someone else's post for your own endorsement.

J.Neilson, sorry for the post, and if I'm outta line, please tell me and I'll delete it. I just don't think it was appropriate.

No arguments here. I don't know who this person is or if their products are any good but, he just guaranteed that I'll never buy anything from him.

That site is a strange site of some Indian company.
It shows stuff, but no prices or orderinginfo.
What's there point?
Strange, strange, strange...
