Up for your consideration is my spine on a kukri/Bolo style machete!
Blade is 80CRV2 brut de forge with a black stonewash finish and has a subtle hollow grind.
Handle consists of desert iron wood (from Greenberg Woods Greenberg Woods ), double red canvas micarta and black linin micarta. pins are bronze, it's got a brass lanyard tube, with brass and copper mosaic center pin.
This blade is very thin behind the edge and was designed to be used for ripping right through brush, saplings and for light chopping and batoning!

The tang has been tapered with lightening holes and has been fullered for wait and balance.
Includes hand made black leather sheath and padded zipper pouch.

Really nice job on the grind, finish and handle - the tapered tang is an elegant touch that too few maker's attempt it seems. GLWS

Yeah I love to do tapered tangs, it can be quite tricky to do on a brut de forge without messing it up though.
But of course this one turned out great! (otherwise I wouldn’t be selling it!)
