kukri-machete, kopis machete, anyone tried it?

I have used a CS bent (kurkri) machety for about 10 years. It has held up well to riding in the truck floor and all the choping that gose with it. Used it at camp, cleared brush, all the typical Machty type work. No complaints.

Mine is an older 15 inch blade, 20 inch overall.

I have the magnum kukri machete.
After a good deal of work with a rubber sanding block & emery paper it snicks of thumb thick mimosa branches in my driveway with a satisfying 'Ping'.

On harder wood, it wants to twist and that is certainly scary with a blade that big.

They're ok for leafy stuff, but like buddy said, scary for chopping things. The bolo machete is in my mind their most versatile machete design.
