Kukri on ebay looks wrong

Heads up that someone on ebay is selling a Special Projects kukri that doesn't seem right. Looks like someone took an MTC and ground the spine to remove the clip point and make it look more like a traditional kukri. The apex of the spine is too sharp and too far back compared to the real mini kukri, which has a continuous curve. The sheath is definitely from an MTC.

I agree with your assessment. Stripped and ground. If done right, it'll be an OK user. If coins wrong, the HT can take a hit. even if done "right", they removed the weight forward bias and turned it into a mediocre chopper, at best. Of course, there's now more collector value in the sheath than the knife 😁
