Folks should read Game of Thrones if they like Tolkien-style fantasy books. I read the whole series and it's mindblowing. mindblowing like an HI kukri. Yes, that good.

+1. I prefer the series to Tolkien by a wide margin. Not all the good guys are good and not all the bad guys are bad and anyone can die at anytime.

I was sitting here wondering why the little guy in that pic looked familiar.... it took a few minutes, but i think he's Mike Rowes (dirty jobs) mini me. .....so i guess his name would be Mic Ro.

It's an excellent series. I believe the final book(s) are due out soon.
