"kukri" or "khukri"

Is this different spellings for the same type of knife or what? I've become kind of interested in this knife style after seeing some on this website. It might be kind of handy for outdoor recreation also. I like to hunt, hike, and camp. OK, it just looks cool, that's reason enough for me.
 
Both spellings are in common usage. Khukri may sound more like the native word but Kukri is more commonly used.

I believe the correct spelling to be khukuri. I know I'm a bad influence but you might enjoy a look at the khukuri screen show that I put together.
