Kukri throwing ?

Dumb question - has anyone tried kukri throwing? Looks like it would work and might be fun. Lots of cheap kukri around.

Youtube user tomahawktree has some videos of him throwing Cold Steel kukris and machetes. He's the guy you see throwing all the stuff in the proof videos.
 
Just have to adjust your release technique to the flared butt of the handle. Other than that, hurl away!
