Absolutely outstanding.

What is the blade thickness, is it a distal taper or continuous thickness along the length of the blade, and is it full thickness top to bottom or does it taper down in addition to the hollow grind plunge at the bottom?

Blade thickness is 3/16.No distal taper on this chopper.If I were to grind a distal taper in this blade being so long it would have been very thin at the tip so its a continueous flat grind all the way through.After grinding the flats the blade is just a hair under 3/16th and the balance feels like a feather in your hand for such a large knife.Thanks for asking
