Cheers!1. The Khukuri business is a VERY competative business, therefore so many make such big claims. Please beware that Khukuris are sold with a lot of hype, and myths.
2. Many has supplied Khukuris for the Gurkhas, for the moment the supplier to the british I believe is TBK & Sons Khukuri. Heard of it? I pretty much never have. The BSI is not the best in anyway, some even consider it straight out bad. But its rather common, when people have a Khukuri its not to unusual to be a BSI, and many are very satisfied with it. Its readily available and ok, but there are better ones out there, depending on needs. They are in general water quenched, while more and more do oil quenching. The offical supplier part is of course fun if you think of the saying "Dont forget your rifle was made from the lowest bidder".
3. I had a BSI from KH many years ago, it had a warped blade. If you just want to have one and dont care that much about official supplier etc you could just buy from anyone of the bigger companies.
