Finally got all three done! They were a lot of hard work but also worth the effort :) I made these from 3/8in thick 5160 with a differential heat treat. They are all approximately 17 3/4in overall with 12 5/8in blades. They are big and heavy but the full flat grind really helps keep them more than manageable. I dont have a scale to get an actual weight but they feel similar to a regular sized hatchet to me. I have 1 each in blue/black G10(***SOLD***). , OD Green G10(***SOLD***). , and Coyote Brown G10(***SOLD***). I am asking $475(USPS MO or Paypal) shipped in the US each for these. A Kydex sheath can be added for $45. I have decided to seperate the sheathing on these as past Kukris I have sheathed suffered from sheath rub syndrome so I figured I would make the sheaths optional for those who may want leather of know a better plastic bender than me :) The edges on these have been slightly convexed too. Here are some pics including a family photo right after an oil bath.
Coyote Brown is SOLD
OD Green is SOLD
Blue/Black is SOLD

I think you did the kamis and sharks alike over in the HI forum proud. Those are beautifully done.

Pretty cool Bill have you tried one out yet and has the Dr. seen these.
Oh yeah I tried one out......................it bit so deep in my tester 4X4 I need a new one :) I got about half way through on one swing! The mechanical advantage the Kukri design offers is simply amazing!

Those look fantastic. Really fine work. That is my favorite blade type. I need to find the $$ for one of these before
They are gone!!!
