!!!!!! I went back on my word and asked if she could wait for payment lol, she said yes and the done deal prayer was made; i have always been a huge sucker for the tool kit khuks-- and the elk antler made it pretty well something to get, I might even try to make my own kothimoda scabbard for it-- all my wood buying has got me wanting to try some crafting too, but I want to work on the cheap stuff for a looong time-- so this will sit safely in the armory with the others until its called up to be clad in silver and sumatran amber

A Kothimoda in silver and Sumatran amber, sounds...Regal. But I am glad you plan to work up to it and remember we all want PICTURES of the process :D
 
Yes, I agree that this khukuri deserves a much better scabbard than that plain black one. It seems like all of the recent offerings come in plain black scabbards and no longer have any lacing on the front of the frog,but instead just have a plain piece of leather riveted in the back. At least my Kumar dui chirra with the six tools from back in July came in a really nice tan leather scabbard with five laces on the front of the frog.
