I was taking some pics tonight and remmebered there was a difference in the HI mark on the blades. I'll attach a photo, the top one is the mark on my 20" Kumar villager-WWII. The bottom one is taken from one of Eich1911's pics. Now that I've got them in pictures instead of steel, I can probably safely ask my wife tomorrow

The forumites are more observant than me. The top in the double pix is B. G. (BirGorkha). Bottom is standard H. I. Kumar has signed his name in Devanagari.
