Kumo Handle?

For people who have bought these, how is the handle wrap holding up? When I ran a search I read a couple positive things about a thick epoxy coating. Anyone have anything to add?

The epoxy makes the handle feel more like it's made from plastic than silk. It seems very durable, and it's very unlikely that the silk would fray or unravel. I think the epoxy is on the ray skin as well.

looking at mine, I don't think I will ever have a problem. The epoxy is sealed very well.
