You got Orcs in the moat knonck as meals or playmates for the moat monsters. Not familiar with them myself, maybe we don't got em around here in the NW.
hmm. i hear they're sneaky over there in the NW, dress up in gilly suits. you can tell if they are around as they have very big feet. they wait until they have large numbers before coming down from the hills to loot, murder and pillage. until that happens, you'll rarely see them, they're good at hiding and not leaving sign. except for the big foot tracks.
they're not a native species here, some little feller brought a few orc eggs back from his travels that had hidden in his backpack, he's always moaning on over some story about a ring. anyways, if you get an infestation of 'em, a moat monster is the cure, tho they do tend to fart a bit more than usual after eating a few. anyways, they love them, alive or otherwise, preferably whole or at least big pieces as they love playing with them and twisting off pieces. personally i think they smell bad so i wash off the dead ones before they get near the castle, after making them so.
...i prefer a hanshee, as i know y'all were gonna ask which khuk is best. i save the heads for training treats for the dire wolves.
anyhow, i'll be having a few thousand of the cute little moatie tykes available soon as my moatie has laid a rather larger clutch. keep the kiddies indoors for a while till they get acclimated to your moat and your families. it helps if they are around for the hatching tho as they imprint as soon as they're hatched and fed. just make sure each of you has a good chunk of orc for them as it sets the bonding. if they are not hand fed, they'll eat the nearest animal, and go feral. you do not need any feral MMs around.
do try to keep the males and females apart, or you'll be overrun with them. the males are very sneaky tho. always feed them after midnight and keep them wet. (the occasional intruder snack excepted of course) i'll send you a few moat monster eggs in the post tomorrow. hope they get there before they hatch.
a baby moatie tadpole is rather cute.
