Im trying to decide on my next purchase. Currently I'm between a Kwaiback and an A15 UHEP and wondering about peoples' opinions of one vs the other. Im also looking for suggestions in the $400-$600 range. Ive tossed around the idea of an SMF, red horse knife works hell razor, or a medford TFF-1. I like larger folders and prefer frame locks with flippers but not exclusively. My main concerns are toughness/ build quality as well as smoothness of opening. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Ryan.

i have both a A15 UHEP and a custom Kwaiback and SMFs, if your looking to stay in the price range you pointed out,go for the A15, its a bigger beefier over built knife for the price. The SMF is really nice also more along the lines of the A15 however i feel the A15 is built better with tighter tolerances than a regular SMF.
I also have a couple Medfords and they are huge which is awesome but almost too big for a EDC.
hope that helps
