Rare David Dempsey Japanese influenced damascus blade
Well, I keep going back and forth with this knife. So here it is again.
David Dempsey "kwaiken" in .155 damascus.
blade length of 3 5/8in long, and OAL length of 7 3/4in.
cord wrapped over rayskin with a carbon-look kydex sheath.
Full disclosure: the kydex sheath is slightly loose, a little up/down jiggle. The knife has not been used or sharpened by me. Sharpness rating is fair. Not screaming sharp. The Turkish knot has very slight rub from being in/out of sheath. None of this is/was a deal breaker.
Would be a great EDC/user, and still makes for a great collection piece. Apparently David did make many Japanese styled knives, however he is done making knives from what I understand. And is still considering to be one of the great knife makers. Now am I on track?
(forum member corrected me about him NOT making many Japanese styled knives, thanks.).
Buyer to pay with paypal only, shipped to CONUS only. Buyer responsible for knowing local knife laws. First I'll take it in this thread followed by a PM or email gets it. Thanks for looking, questions are welcome.
