Hello! I am looking for a kwaiken, but I am having a bit of trouble finding what I want. I felt the CRKT version at Wally-World, and it was perfect in my hand. I wish the blade had been a bit longer, but past that, I loved it. Now I just need one that isn't made in china :D

Blade length - 4"-4.5"
Blade steel - depends on what you have in stock and what is affordable, but must be a high carbon.
Handle - Bare if you don't know how to tie the ito. Just leave it completely blank and I will do the rest. If you can wrap an ito, that would be perfect!
Thickness - Not too important. Let me know what your stock is.
Finish - Heat treat, if possible
No sheath, to save on cost.
So, would anybody be able to take on this project? I would love to pay top dollar, as I am sure the quality on this forum is of the highest grade, but as a broke student, I need to keep this one as economy as possible. Thanks for reading and considering!
Oh, please email all questions or proposals to ferahgo_diomani@aol.com.
Thank you!

You ok with chisel grind?

I think I would be. I have only used it in the kitchen. What did you have in mind

I've made a couple knives in similar style lately...

For steel, I have some 1/8" Carbon V.

That looks quite nice! Do you think you could take on this project? Keeping in mind that I need it economical

Hmm. Not exactly what I was thinking about. This is way cooler! :D
Very well done. I look forward to this thing.
