Kwaiken :
Steel: is 3/16" thick 1095
Heat treat: Clay heat treated producing a nice hamon. The edge hardness of about 60 Rc with with a softer, tougher spine .
Blade: Length 5.3 inches from tip to Turks head knot with fuller on each side.
Overall: 10.6 inches
Handle: Thin French Walnut wood scales on the knifes full tang. Black lizard skin cemented on top of scales and over wrapped with flat black cord. The cord wrap is set in epoxy for greater wear resistance.
Sheath: Black tooled leather with steel ring.

Hello rolf and thanks. I'm wondering what you mean by fake skin, plastic? Cow leather tooled to look like lizard (or sting ray)? Or something different. Kelley
