Pretty much any type of epoxy would work well enough. try to get some that comes in two separate tubes that you mix together. also, if you can get a hold of some, there is a special type that permantantly bonds the two items. i have a little around here somewhere but its hard to get.
The problem with Kydex is that it flexes, it is also impervious to most solvents. These two things will make it difficult to make a bond that is permanent. I think epoxy will stick to it but will crack and fall off if flexed.
The only thing I can think of that would work is 3M VHB, it's what CR uses to bond his wood inlays to his knives. Sticks like an epoxy, but has shock resistance/flexure.
Hi JB, you might want to try some thick two-sided tape (like the kind they use on picture hooks). It should hold pretty well and give you the option of removing the stone without damaging the sheath if the need arises. Good luck, Greg
