Kydex Ankle Sheath for Becker BK11 & Bk14 Knives

Thanks guy's (and gals) and sorry for not getting that ad up.. I'm a nerd and just now got it up:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/967774-Kydex-Ankle-Sheath-for-BK11-BK14-Izula-I-amp-II-Swamp-Warden-Scrapivore-and-others?p=11010815#post11010815

Thrill: there a velcro strap and a D-ring attached at one end so the strap just threads through and locks onto the other side. There's alot of velcro so it's really locked down but the strap is long enough to wrap around a thigh so it needs to be trimmed once you size it up.

BRL: Nice, I just started making "clipped" sheaths for the Candiru that work IWB and in a front pocket.... I wonder if they'd work clipped to a boot, I'm working on a little sheath that does that but these might do the trick too.

I've got some IWB designs for the Tweeners too but I've got some catching up to do first.

Twinstick: I edited my post to show the back a couple post above yours... the picutres didn't load the first time and I thought they did.

JES: Just got it up and again... I'm a nerd.

trailbum: "I think it would work better with a 38 snubnose"... doesn't everything:p I used to carry a snubnose like that and it worked great.

Thanks again for the feedback and I really appreciate it! Can't believe I'm just now putting up my first ad here too.

Thanks! No I haven't.... I bought all the CS Hawks but have been too busy to get anything done yet.

Not a BK but I had on order for two Izula II's and they came out pretty nice.

The TDI clips work well inside a boot. I wear my TDI knife clipped inside my cowboy boot on occasion, I think once deer season gets here and I start wearing my knee-high rubber boots over my pants...a BK14 (or 17) clipped in it would be a nice carry option.

Funny you should mention it.... but I made that exact setup a couple weeks ago.. the Tweeners fit perfectly but I think I'd like a drop-plate added to it because I'm "tactically padded" around the mid-section. I wouldn't have thought to set one up like this but a member here asked for it and it came out pretty clean.

Just reversed for your boots?

Eli

Looks pretty good! I have a couple TDI clips, I may have to slap one on a tweener sheath!

ya, for boot carry the clip goes on the reverse side, like for a left-handed belt carry. LOL I hear ya on the ''padding''...I need either a drop or a horizontal carry...unless I want to have a 1095 pommel stuck in my side all day!

GODSPEED! ...

I use the stock edge-wrecker with a TDI clip for pocket carry of my 11 or 14 in my left pocket (the right side's reserved for a Spydie Endura). I really like your design. Looks a bit more compact. Are you gonna be making these for the small Beckers?

And that Tweener sheath with the TDI clip is CLEAN. I like that too. Nice work.
