Hi folks, sorry to use this site, no choice though. A year and some months ago I ordered a machete sheath from bussecrazed. After every excuse in the book I am throwing in the towel. $65.00 down the drain after trying to be understanding of his " problem", whatever that might be. Even had correspondance with his wife, who assured me that the sheath was being shipped out three months ago. Buyer beware.

I just dont get why someone would rip another person off for such small sum.. And then have his wife get involved ? I just dont get it.

There are a lot of good Kydex benders around here, two that come to mind are Kiah and David Brown. I'd buy from either of these guys blindfolded any day. Might not do any good, but I sent Bussecrazed a link to this thread. Rading through his visitor messages, it appears he has had some problems keeping his transactions up to date. Let us know if we can help.

I would also add azwelke to that list!!

I believe there has been other threads on Bussecrazed before, not making orders as planned and making excuses.

My one and only experience with him was very positive. It was several months ago I purchased a knife from him on the exchange.
I asked him if he could fashion a sheath to go with it. That same day he sent me a photo of the knife with sheath and said he just
came back from the PO and the package is on its way. When I looked at the sheath in the photo it was a taco. I wanted a pancake
but mistakenly asked for a taco, so I sent him an e-mail thanking him for the speedy shipping and I told him of my mistake. About two
hours later I received an e-mail with a picture of a pancake sheath saying he made it to the PO in time. So he ran to the PO, tracked
the package down, took it home, made me a pancake sheath and back to the PO to get it out that day.
I'm sorry to hear about what your going through and hope you get sorted out but that day I received top notch service.

Rick

Sorry to hear about that. It only takes about 30 minutes or less to press and shape a kydex sheath. More if you are really doing something intricate. I don't see why any craftsman would jeopardize his reputation over a job that can be done so easily, especially for someone who has a shop all set up to do it!

It's a shame, really. :(
