Kydex/Concealex - Differences?

Anyone know the differences between kydex and concealex? I know both are made in different thicknesses so wonder if it is anything to do with stiffness or is it just a brand name? Thanks.

I've wondered that myself, but as far as I know concealex comes in a bit thinner stocks.

Also I think concealex tends to mold better over the knife. So in other words you'll be able to see the contours of the knife with a concealex sheath more distinctly than with a kydex one.

But I could be wrong.

From what I understand , Concealex is a type of Kydex handled by Blade-Tech. They are mixtures of acrylic and PVC.
