Kydex Eyelets

Ok. I got 1/4" eyelets and drilled 1/4" holes in the kydex...how do I put them in? Do I need a special setter or something?

Yes there is a setter that looks like a pointed punch. Ask them about it where ever you bout the eyelets or grind the tip on one of your punches. The setter will spread the eyelet, then simply lightly flatten it with a small hammer. Practice first of course. Bruce

I was going to suggest www.tandyleather.com for a "setter" but they are off line right now...

Sometimes fabric stores or sporting goods/hardware stores will carry these as well...

Ok. You use only 1 eyelet per hole and the back is the kinda spidery looking piece where the eyelet kinda flattens and spreads out to?

Try these guys Taz. I use the A289 eyelet with the hand plier setter. It costs about $15.00. They have everything you need.
