A couple weeks ago I started a thread inquiring about a place to buy a kydex sheath for my Bark River Canadian Special without having to send it out. Kiah responded almost immediately and reccomended someone else, not even mentioning that he could do it if I did decide to send it out. With that demonstration of character I decided to just ship the knife to Kiah and have him make me a sheath. The price was very reasonable and I received it back less than two weeks after he got it, along with a tek-lock and extra hardware.
The ergonomics and retention on this sheath are fantastic! It is comfortable horizontally or vertically, but I prefer to keep it horizontal at the 11 o'clock position for cross draw carry. I only wish I did this sooner. The Canadian Special is my favorite overall knife except I find the leather sheaths from bark river awkward to carry and use. Now I can carry it almost every day!
