Kydex or Concealex ?

Kydex is a little bit better in my opinion. Can't really explain why? Kydex feels like a higher quality material than concealex.
 
Not tryin to make a joke, but concealex feels "plastic-y" and brittle compared to kydex.
 
I have both Kydex and Concealex sheaths; they all function about the same.

My two Concealex sheaths have a carbon fiber type of pattern that’s good looking.

The Concealex has a smoother finish that’s easy to clean.

I agree with the others that the Kydex seems a bit tougher, but I must confess that Concealex is holding just as well.
 
I don't have too much knowledge about either - I have made some kydex sheaths and own a concealex sheath, and that's about it.

I will say that I would never again buy a sheath with an offset loop made out of concealex. Mine broke under very little strain.

The sheath itself works great but the belt loop broke WAY too easily.
