I have had and used this press for a few years but no longer have the need or want to make anything out of kydex.
The press is made out of cast iron and on one side says on it F H Smith Mfg Co, Chicago USA. On the reverse side it says the universal Pat D.
This presses dimensions are 6 in long at the base and 11-1/2 in tall with the handle up, 6 in tall with the handle down and 1-1/8 in wide. Perfect for the workbench where space is an issue. The handle is spring loaded so it stays in the up position. This is a quality american made press.
It comes with 2 flaring tips and 4 different size dies numbered 1, A1, 2, and 3.
It also comes with a bag of large brass rivets, a unopened package of med size aluminum rivets (150 count) and a box of a couple hundred rivets of various sizes and materials. I also have the original label from the original box with a patent date of june 5, 1906.
Reasonable offers considered!
Thanks for looking,
Chuck
