Kydex Saturday/The modern day warrior??

Hmm...

Oh and both of mine are Bhaktas. Though I think I have something with the vertical spear mark, but doesn't Padam also use a mark like that?

Yuvraj uses a stick with a dot over it. Looks like a candle maybe. Min is a trident . Three pointed spear. looks like a three prong fork. If you want checkering Bawanna is the man! He did my Micro AKB and it is absolutely perfect! Adds a touch more class to an already classy blade:thumbup:

Bawanna them grips are awesome! After doing my folder scales I have much respect for anyone that can do that at all much less in a day! Beautiful wood!

I hope you didn't have a patent on all parts of that folder, the way you curved the back of the blade behind the cho appealed to me, mine was rather sharp at that spot so I sort of borrowed your idear and rounded mine off too. Probably not as much as you did but I may do it some more. It's pretty good now the way it is but I kind of like the looks of it.

Love looking at 1911's Bawanna... I could gaze into those swirling grips for hours. How is the Ruger working out for you? I have always been a huge fan of Rugers entire catalog, especially there #1 single shot varmint rifle in 22-250

Right. Personally I'm looking for a setup that doesn't force me to wrangle with belt, belt loops and knife in order to wear the knife.

Just out of curiosity, how close is the fit on these? If I were to do this or have someone do it, would it be specific to one of my IBBBs, or would it fit both the shallow clip and the steep clip?
Tek loks work pretty well. The big ones lock, are adjustable for belt width and screw onto the sheath.

Good ideas to use a heat gun and shock cord. Been wanting to try making a kydex sheath but didnt have a press or rivet tools.

I don't have a press or rivet tool either. I'm thinking I could do a lot better job if I had them.

I just use a small round headed bolt to start the rivets curling over and then a small ball pein hammer.

I don't do enough to really justify making a press. You just don't have a lot of time to work, once the stuff starts to cool.

I was surprised how quickly a real heat gun got the stuff workable, even on low setting, it was more than enough and it was especially good for fine tuning when your just about there but just want a little tweak. You put it back in the oven and you lose everything you had sometimes.

Leather is still my first love, preferably made by somebody else that's good at it.

Not a bad job Joe, not a bad job at all my friend. I really need a shed for all my knife tinkering exercises, atm all my gear is crammed onto a dining table in my 1 car garage :/

Still loving that bura. What a great knife. Shame I wasn't around while he was making them. Ah well, guess I'll jus add my name to the list of people who will own it after you :)

And what a beautiful pistol Shavru, making me want to get my pistol licence now :/ I'm sure you're going to make a fair few people very jealous :p

You can still get a pistol license down in OZ now? I thought they were a no no no matter who you are.

To be clear on the pistol, the one in the picture is mine but Shavru has one identical to it.

I can't remember if hers is commander size, the 4 1/2" barrel or full size 5" like mine. Hoping she digs the handles when they get there.

Mine is the Commander size 4 1/2" barrel. I love the full size ones but they are a bit tough to conceal on my pygmy frame. And I already keep coming back to gaze lovingly at the pictures. I imagine once I see the real thing I will be struck mute for whole minutes at a time. Which my husband would explain is a lifetime for me to not talk :D

I can comment first hand, our good friend Bawanna makes some fantastic 1911 grips:D Probably the most comfortable pistol I own. Love them:)
