Kydex scratches

Hopefully this is in the right spot - but I was wondering if anyone has experienced scratches on a knife with no protective coating on it from inserting/removing it from a kydex sheath? Does it bother you as much as its bothering me? Is there a way to protect against it happening (other than adjusting the kydex)? The individual who made this knife does fantastic work and I don't want the kydex to ruin the blade. Suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Its not the kydex but grit and dirt that's stuck inside the sheath that's scratching it..Thats one thing about kydex sheaths that you kinda have to get use to..if you use the knife much it will pick up grit and deposit in the sheath..If there is no room around the blade it will get scratched..The area around the bolster, guard should really be what locks the knife in place with the kydex not touching the blade..

You have to adjust the kydex sheath.

Put a couple layers of blue tape over the blade to give it more thickness.

Use a heat gun and gently heat the sheath and when it has some give, insert the blade with tape on it. Heat gently the sheath over the blade and move knife in and out. Insert the blade and let the kydex cool. If done correctly the blade will not touch the kydex.

Thanks Adam, I think that will fix it because it looks like the sheath is rubbing on the blade when it's drawn out and put back in. Thanks for the advice I will have to give that a try this coming weekend!
