Kydex Scratches

I usually have enough grit embedded in the skin of my fingers to scratch most metals, even hardened blades. I worked in a polishing shop for several years and would get really choked when I spend all this time polishing something up and then somebody (that knows better) comes along and rubs their finger on it and says "Ooh, that's shiny".... Yeah, it's shiny but now you just scratched it and it has to be repolished... which sucks because unless you bring the whole piece up to working (polishing) temperature, the compound likes to stick in little dots that show up as little marks when the piece is cleaned with thinner.

Anyhow, if you don't want to scratch your knife, don't use it or touch it, put it behind glass for everybody to see it's glory. :)
