Hello!

Yesterday a friend of mine presented me with Paklite 141. Great knife and actually I was looking to buy a smaller skinner from the same series.

So, I'd like to order a Kydex sheath for it. I'm asking this publicly because the knife already with me -- I can't send it for molding, and I think not many of the sheath makers have the same model.

Could some interested sheath maker help me out with this?

I understand that my request might be not appropriate. I'll appreciate if you point me to the right direction.

That is going to be tough I reckon, due in part because any sheath maker out there worth their salt is going to want to put your knife into the medium and debone it for proper fitment. I am no maker, rather a user of the end result so I would submit that you reach out to the various providers here and ask if they have your model of knife on hand to get something close to form and fit as a mock up.

I've just had a sheath fitted to my Cold Steel recon tanto by Dave Brown, start there and good luck, he may be able to sort you out.

Why can't you ship your blade? Don't want to part with it, or fear of losing it in the transaction?

I'm outside of the US. Shipping forth and back might add up to 30$, I believe. And the brand new knife is 20 something. The post service is not very reliable, I lost a pen recently -- it didn't show up shipped from USA.

Usually I buy a knife and directly get it shipped to a sheath maker. Skystorm, on one occasion ordered a Becker BK-17 directly to his workshop, and made a great leather sheath for me.

But as I said, the knife is a present and it is here with me. So unless I find somebody with exactly that model at hand I either make my own kydex/leather sheath or buy a double and order two sheaths ;)

Where are you located? You may be able to find a maker in your area who can make a sheath for you.
