Kydex Sheath for the BK-7

I got to say that's excellent craftsmanship, not only the addition of a firesteel , but the combination of a tek-lok with a leather belt loop. Would love to order two if you are takin orders. Great job- Manitoba

Can the knife be drawn with one hand?

Hi Qeth, yes, the knife can be drawn with one hand. Because of the open back along the spine, I've tried to make the sheath very rigid elsewhere so that it's relatively jump-proof. At the most (i.e. in extreme cold), you should be able to draw the knife by pushing the edge over with your thumb.

Thanks for the kind words, Manitoba. Email sent.

Nice design, way to think outside the box.

Hey Herger, I really appreciate that; thanks very much.

Hunka, GREAT JOB.

That is how a plastic sheath should be, sleek, utilitarian and ready to get fitted with whatever is needed.

Now, if you get the notion my BK5 needs a new stroller.

Hey Zeke. First off, I love that call-sign. Awesome. Second, I'd be happy to make you a stroller, but you'd have to send me your baby. PM or email me, if you're interested.

Man! That's true. I always thought Jimi Hendrix was talking about relationship issues in "Crosstown Traffic". Boy, was I wrong.

Ya, but it couldn't have been that bad back in the day; could it? I'll have to e-mail you the next time I'm headed down that way. If I ever get some time I'll be going on a hike somewhere up 90.

I just got pictures for my sheath that is now in the mail on the way to me! looks great! ill report once i get the sheath in hand but from the pictures provided id say its one of the best looking kydex sheaths ever made

This thread is too concerned with placing orders, which needs a higher level membership for the seller, and advertising belongs in the Exchange.

Another great one man, I am still digging the one you made for my BK2. You want to tackle the BK11 next?

Hello!
The only think I want to put here is: visually[\b] it is the best project for Becker big knifes I've ever seen. I hope its functionality is super too! Therefore I'm determined to by it for my BK-7, even though i'm from Poland :D

Question to the users: is it comfortable? How do you fix it? Could you tell me, does this sheath keep the knive inside safety (to fix Becker upside-down for examle)?

That's pretty amazing. I normally don't like huge knives hanging off my hip, but I like the option of belt loop or horizontal carry via Tek-Lok. This sheath alone makes me want to go out and buy one of the BK big knives. Seriously, I may just do it just so I could pick up one of these sheaths for it. Great job, man.
