Who makes kydex sheaths for HI khukuris? I am interested in getting an 18" WW2 model but I want a kydex sheath...
Any info for contact and pricing will be greatly appreciated.
I believe Edgeworks make custom kydex sheaths. Probably just www.edgeworks.com, but I'm not sure on that. I also would like to get a kydex sheath for one of my khuks. Maybe if you find out anything interesting you could post results for the rest of us? Do you know of a good custom leather sheath maker?
Sorry, Rob...
Don't know any leather makers.
I spend a lot of time on the Chattahoochee River and leather does not hold up well under those conditions. I prefer either kydex or cordura. If I find a maker, I'll post!
For leather, Bill has recommended someone numerous times, and says he does great traditional stuff.
Unfortunately, my mind has gone out to lunch and after this morning I think it will be taking a long one.
John Powell might recall. If not, other forumites might remember, or keywords to search under. Certainly when Bill gets back in a couple weeks he'll know.

Rusty the man that does the custom scabbards is Terry Cisco. I think he may be online now as I got an e-mail from him the other day. I tried to call him once, but his line was busy. I replied back that it may be easier to get a hold of me as I am almost always home during the day except for Mon.,Wed.,and Friday mornings.
He lives about 25 minutes or so from me so we will connect one of these days. I understand he also does custom handles like the one I am doing for QL.
I'll save those names for future use. Can't afford a custom sheath at the present moment--too many khuks! But I definitely will be getting one, so thanks for the info.
