Kydex: taco vs pancake

A taco style is slightly slimmer profile. If you use screws instead of rivets in a pancake style you can disassemble it for cleaning out grit and such and it's a bit easier to mount loops clips and other mounting hardware.

^^^ yup, the taco is slimmer and takes up less space on your side.

The pancake has rivets on BOTH sides of the sheath and allows for a far greater variety of attachment options with the use of tek lok's, molle, or even paracord. If you ever plan on attaching it to something besides your belt, it's a good option.
