Some places were mentioned right up near the top of the thread.;)

I got a piece 12" x 12" from Jeff Diotte of Downie Supplies in Ontario.

His tel # is (519) 9782764. Pleasant and helpful guy.

How much did you Pay for this, and what thickness was it, and dose he offer a carbon fibre print like on KnifeKits.com?

When I make Kydex sheaths I found that it is easier to cut the Kydex to the size that you need.

Cover the blade and handle of the knife with Blue painters tape. This will protect the blade and give a little extra room in the sheath for the blade. The blade won't rub on the sheath as much by doing this.

Then to heat the Kydex in an oven directly on the oven rack at about 230 - 250 degrees for about 5 min. Keep testing the plyability of the Kydex until it has the same feeling as wet leather. It will be HOT!!! I user leather work gloves to handle it. I then take the Kydex and place it on the knife and put in my home made Kydex Press for about 10 - 20 min to allow it to cool. Then I pull the sheath out of the press and "Fine Tune" the sheath, such as roll the lip of the sheath so that the knife does not stick and the knife goes into the sheath easily.

wasteawaytoday,

I paid $6-00 CAD for the sheet, that was a year ago tho.
It is 1/16 thick.
Sorry, I do not know the answer to your other question, give Jeff a call, if he cannot help you he will know someone that can.

Thanks for all the tips everyone.:D

Mike
