Oh .. oh .. oh .. I drool a lot lately and now I start crying as well .. what a beautiful evil big sister .. This is the evil big sister to the knife 'Sinistre' I made for Coop a few years ago ..
A first for Kyle, 12" W2 Blade and Damascus Bolsters. Cooper liners and 5460 year old Bog Oak.
This is the evil big sister to the knife 'Sinistre' I made for Coop a few years ago. Coop ask for a 12" knife and I forged a 12" bladed knife. So this one got set aside and Kyle has been eyeballing it for awhile...
He did good!![]()
^^^ I agree Coop, when you have a specific design in mind it's hard to swallow something different.
I ordered a set of matched custom dueling bowies years ago, even gave the makers a design drawing complete with dimensions. Imagine my surprise when completed and one was 5/8" longer than the other.![]()
^^^ Not so. I had a specific design in mind and Don fulfilled it BEYOND my expectations. OAL length @ 12" was juuuuuuust right.
