My son Kyle has been working in the shop now for a few months and is catching on pretty quick. We are marking these collaboration knives with my sunfish stamp on the front and a K on the back.

4.5" forged W2 tool steel blade. Flat ground and very sharp.

'Old' natural micarta scales on full tang. 9" over all length.

Fantastic sheath by Paul Long.

$485 shipped Priority mail in the USA. SOLD THANKS

Email; info@sunfishforge.com

Thanks guys!

Looks good. Seems to have picked up some hamon talent from his father.

Don, do you happen to have any tang-edge pics? Does this knife have liners?

Also, out of curiosity...who did what on the knives?

It's a great looking, very useful profile knife!

Don:

Very clean knife and good lookin' hamon. Don't forget to remind Kyle that Mother's Day is next weekend! :)

Nathan, no edge pics of this one and no liners. I think I'll have him do liners on the next one.

Kyle is doing around 95% of the work, I'm there to tell him what and what not to do, I supply the shop, tools and materials. I also occasionally help straighten out his bevel grinds, but he is naturally good at this kind of work. With my mark on the blades quality has to come first, so no corners are cut.

Kyle is working on number 10 right now. :)

Thanks much guys!
